Membership (CPJA)

IPSS has recently devised a membership application policy to facilitate and support membership applications from members of CPJA, who are either direct members of CPJA or members of CPJA Member Organisations and who are currently UKCP accredited within CPJA under the title. “Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist”. Prior to this applicant psychotherapists could only use the accreditation route to membership of IPSS. On review we have deemed that not appropriate for those applicants who are currently accredited psychotherapists by UKCP through CPJA.
We have 3 Forums per year at a venue near to Southwark and Blackfriars Station, where members and speakers present and discuss papers and have the opportunity to meet over lunch. If you are interested in applying for membership you might wish to attend the Forum to get a taste of IPSS as well as take the opportunity to meet some of the membership. It has been noted by recent outside speakers that IPSS has a friendly and informed membership. All our members are accredited by UKCP through the College, CPJA. If you would like further information, to discuss membership or to arrange to come to a Forum contact the Administrator who will put you in touch with a member of IPSS Council.
